Description
Budesonide/formoterol is an inhaler prescribed for the treatment of asthma in adults, adolescents (aged 12 and above), and children (aged 6 to 11). It should not be used if there is an allergy to its components or lactose (which contains small amounts of milk protein). Prior to using Budesonide/formoterol, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have diabetes, lung infection, high blood pressure, heart issues, thyroid or adrenal gland problems, low potassium levels, or severe liver problems. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Discontinue using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are using, as certain drugs may interact with Budesonide/formoterol. The dosage varies based on age and whether it is used in combination with a separate reliever inhaler or as the sole asthma inhaler. Store the medicine safely, away from children, and do not use it after the expiry date. Keep the container tightly closed and dispose of any deteriorated or damaged packaging properly, without discarding it via wastewater or household waste.
